The New World Program
The New World Program is a partnership between The Coca-Cola Foundation and Global Water Challenge that encourages participation of civil society organizations to create innovative, inclusive, and sustainable solutions for the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The New World Program provides grants to projects that focus on three key pillars:
Community water stewardship to increase access to safe drinking water and sanitation services and improved water resources management through inclusive and practical community-based approaches;
Empowering women and youth through improved education and job creation for more resilient communities;
Mitigating the effects of climate change through developing sustainable packaging, marine litter, and recycling initiatives.
Since its launch in 2014, the New World Program has supported 66 projects across 21 countries throughout Eurasia, the Middle East, and Africa.
